Pine Trees Golf Society is a friendly, not-for-profit association of local golf enthusiasts which we started back in 2006, when 4 or 5 of us who were involved with Pine Tree Equestrian Centre in one way or another (mostly because our wives had horses there!) decided that we’d like to start playing some different local courses on a regular basis.

 

It’s purely for fun - we don’t get all serious & precious about our golf like some societies - but we do run various competitions each time we play, & we have an annual prizegiving dinner just after Christmas every year, where we all celebrate the successes of the trophy winners & commiserate with the runners-up over a nice meal & (quite) a few glasses of alcoholic refreshment!
